Refund & Return Policy — GenLearny Innovations

Refund & Return Policy

GenLearny Innovations disclaims all liability and confirms that it will not, under all conditions, entertain any appeal for a return of any request made on www.genlearny.com, except as expressly stated in this policy.

Change of course

GenLearny Innovations allows you to change your course to an alternative course only once using the following guidelines:

  • GenLearny must be notified in writing at least 1 week before the commencement of the original course.
  • The alternative course must have seats available and must finish within 1 month of the original course finish date.
  • If switching to a course of a higher value, students are required to pay the difference in fees.
  • If switching to a course of a lower value, GenLearny is not liable to refund the difference.
  • A processing fee of Rs. 500/- must be paid within 3 days after GenLearny accepts the change-of-course request; failing which the request will be cancelled and no further request will be entertained.
  • Course change is allowed only once during the program.

Process for Change of Course

  1. Contact GenLearny at support@genlearny.com with your course change request.
  2. Once approved, fill up the “Course Change Form” and submit it within 3 business days.
  3. Pay the processing fee (and the difference in course costs if applicable) and submit the receipt to support@genlearny.com.
  4. In 5–7 business days, you will receive confirmation for the course change request.

Reschedule

Rescheduling by GenLearny Innovations is governed by the following guidelines:

  • If a course doesn’t begin within 40 business days of the published commencement date, a student is entitled to either a full refund or may choose to join a different batch/course.
  • GenLearny will make all possible efforts to conduct a course. However, if a course is rescheduled due to unforeseen delays on our end, GenLearny is only responsible for the cost of the course. Any travel, logistics or personal expenses incurred due to the program won’t be refunded.

Rescheduling requests by customers are governed by the following guidelines:

  • The reschedule request must be made at least 10 business days before the commencement of the course.
  • The rescheduled date should be within 90 days of the initial commencement date.
  • Rescheduling does not permit a change of course.
  • Reschedules are subject to availability of seats.
  • A rescheduling fee of Rs. 500/- must be paid within 5 business days from the date of approval.

Process for Rescheduling of Course

  1. Contact GenLearny at support@genlearny.com with your rescheduling request.
  2. Once approved, fill up the “Reschedule Course Form” and submit it within 3 business days.
  3. Pay the processing fee + difference in course costs (if applicable) and submit the receipt to support@genlearny.com.
  4. In 5–7 business days, you will receive confirmation for the course reschedule request.

If the rescheduled course is of a higher value, students must pay the difference. If switching to a course of a lower value, GenLearny is not liable to pay the amount difference. A processing fee of Rs. 500/- must be paid within 3 days after GenLearny accepts the reschedule request; failing which the request will be cancelled and no further request will be entertained.

Cancellation

GenLearny Innovations reserves the right to cancel any session or change the location of the session for reasons such as instructor unavailability, insufficient participants, or force majeure events (for example: earthquakes, fire, flood, riots, curfew, bandh, protest, strike, civil unrest, etc.).

Refund process

To request a refund, the User may submit a request on the Company’s website. A GenLearny representative will contact the User at the registered phone number provided on the Platform.

The refund request will be entertained and processed only if GenLearny has failed to provide the course availed by the User within 40 days of the course start date. In no other circumstance will the Company process a refund request. The Company retains sole discretion to approve refunds; all refunds shall be processed after applicable statutory deductions.

How your refund is returned

  • If your payment was made by card, the refund will be returned to that card. Depending on your card issuer, it may take up to 30 days to complete the refund.
  • If your payment was made from your bank account, the refund will be returned to that bank account.
  • If your payment was made via other sources (Instamojo, PhonePe, Google Pay, etc.), it will be refunded back to the same source.
  • Please note: no cash refunds are made under any circumstances.
